25+ years in the insulation trade
Joey grew up in insulation. He sold his first job in high school, working for his father’s company. He worked through college in the trade. After that he worked for material distributors, then for several different insulation companies. By the time he and Courtney started Home & Office Insulation, he had already seen every side of the business. Sales. Distribution. Installation. Crew management. Ownership.

“We are operating at fortune 500 level with quality, consistency, and volume with a small family owned team”
— Joey Regitz, on the commercial work H&O takes on
That is the part of the business most homeowners never see. The same crews that insulate a 2,400 sq ft home in Cedar Park on Monday will be running a 200-unit multi-family project on Tuesday. Most insulation companies our size cannot pull that off. The trade relationships, the manufacturer relationships, and the depth of installation experience took two decades to build.
How H&O started
Joey and Courtney started Home & Office Insulation eight years ago. They had a clear idea of how an insulation business should run, and most of what they had seen in the trade fell short of it. Crews that did not show up. Bids that hid the real number until the truck was in the driveway. Cheap installs that failed in three years and a company that did not pick up the phone.
The fix was simple in theory and expensive in practice. Build a small operation with crews that stay. Quote real pricing on the page so homeowners can compare apples to apples. Answer the phone. Walk every job before it starts and walk it again when it is finished. Stand behind the work.
Eight years in, the operation is owner-operated and growing. Joey runs the field. Courtney runs the office side. Some of the crew has been with Joey for more than 15 years.
The way we run a job
Every job runs through the same six steps. No exceptions. The cheap competitor skips most of these, which is why their customers end up calling us a year later.
What we believe about insulation work
Three principles that shape how we run every job.
Knowledge beats square-foot pricing
Most of the bids you’ll get from competitors are a square-foot number on a piece of paper. We will explain what we are recommending, what alternatives exist, what they cost, and why we are pointing you toward one and away from the other. Joey put it this way on a recent call: “I can give them more knowledge about what they’re trying to do than the average competition that shows up handing them a bid with a square foot price.” That is the difference.
A real human answers the phone
When you call, you get Joey or someone on the crew. You do not get an auto-attendant. You do not get “press 1 for spray foam.” You do not get a third-party answering service that will pass a message along sometime tomorrow. Insulation work is not an emergency trade, but the response time on the front end tells you what the response time will be when something goes sideways on install day.
We will talk you out of the wrong product
There are insulation products we will not install, even when a homeowner asks for them by name. Injection foam in existing walls is one. Crawl space encapsulation with a liner over dirt is another. The reasons are technical and we will walk you through them on the call. We are not selling whatever the homeowner asks for. We are selling what will actually work on your house.
What customers tell us
Get a real estimate from a real person
You can call us, you can text us, or you can fill out the form. Either way, someone on the crew will get back to you the same business day. We will book a free on-site visit, walk the job, and give you a real number. You decide from there.
